Dutch-born photographer, digital pioneer and creative director Rob Marinissen has more than 3 decades of international career in photography and advertising under the belt. Now he has bundled his artistic insights and professional experience into a series of well-structured academic lectures and master classes aimed at art, design and communication students and professionals. All programs are presented in English or in Dutch.
HI-001: Marinissen on Dutch Photography
Synopsis: A journey through the history of Dutch photography in an international commercial and art landscape. Rob Marinissen is a Dutch international photographer and creative director currently living in Moscow. Having studied the history of photography, worked as an international photographer, academic teacher and having worked for and represented other photographers, Marinissen has an in-depth understanding of photography from an international perspective. This lecture presents Dutch masters of photography as well as Dutch photographic hot-spots for your bucket list. After the lecture participants will understand how the Dutch mentality, art scene, economy, the Dutch landscape and natural light have contributed to the international success of Dutch photographers.
